Richard S. Goldberg, one of our founding partners, brings to the Firm almost forty (40) years of experience in the areas of Matrimonial & Family Law, and Criminal Law. He a former Kings County Criminal Bar Association President and is a Trustee of the Brooklyn Bar Association. He appears regularly in State and Federal Courts as trial counsel. Engaged primarily in the litigation of criminal and matrimonial matters, Mr. Goldberg, frequently acts in an Of-Counsel capacity to firms that are out-of-county or our local area, including outside of the State of New York. His trial expertise has served licensed professional clients in hearings before State agencies and authorities, and he was one of the lead counsels in the infamous “Pizza Connection” cases in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York. Mr. Goldberg represents significant figures in the entertainment industry and in the arena of non-for-profit agencies and institutions. In the realm of Family & Matrimonial Law, Mr. Goldberg has litigated complex grounds, custody, visitation, and equitable distribution issues in the State Supreme and Family Courts. He prides himself on being a vigorous advocate of his clients rights. He is an able opponent and adversary in the courtroom, but also is a valuable asset when working with others who are on the same side.
