Walter J. Roesch IV, is Goldberg & Cohn’s associate attorney.  He was born and raised in Staten Island, New York, and currently resides in Manhattan.  He played four years of college football for Union College, in Schenectady, New York.  He earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2010.  He was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 2010, and then in New York in 2011.  He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Roesch appears in the Family Court, the Supreme Court of the State of New York and a myriad of administrative tribunals.  He has solid experience advocating for and representing clients on a host of issues.  He is known as a smart and tough litigator, but also has the patience and accumen to effectively negotiate a settlement when called for.  His superior writing skills allow Goldberg & Cohn to be successful when filing pleadings and motions with the Courts.

Mr. Roesch is very able when drafting agreements, including settlements, stipulations, pre/post nuptial, along with written “back and forth” negotiations between parties.

Mr. Roesch also has proven experience in navigating through the Family Courts, Integrated Domestic Violence (IDV) parts of the Supreme Court of the State of New York and the Criminal Courts of the City of New York.

His experience in Matrimonial and Family Law and the personal service he offers our clients is invaluable.  He has practiced in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Family Court, and Civil Court.  He is also admitted to practice in the local courts in the State of New Jersey. His superior communication skills, oral and written, allow him to litigate, negotiate and arbitrate between all parties. In addition Mr. Roesch has created a niche in HRA Medicaid and Snap Fraud cases as well as Office of Administrative Tribunals and Hearings (OATH) hearings on all types of violations.
